Frozen screen on Pokemon Ultra Sun

Issue: White/Blank Screen freeze on startup in Ultra Sun
Description: When first starting up the game, the introduction appears, which works smoothly, after you talk to the Professor and register your name and character look, you are made to watch a short animation of a small girl trying to escape. After the animation finishes, it shows the game title “Pokemon Ultra Sun By Game Freak” like it’s supposed to. However, shortly after the game shows the entire island of your home and slowly zooms in and the screen begins to slowly turn white and my fps begins to drop from average fps (100+ fps) to 30, 28,25,20,2 and finally 0 FPS. Once at 0 FPS, the white screen stays there forever and all I can do is listen to the in-game audio still playing as the screen is frozen and me being unable to do anything at all. I’ve tried restarting the game, reinstalling and everything, like changing my configuration. But, nothing has worked.
