Game crashes during a cutscene

Issue:
when i go to a theme in warioware gold a cutscene plays and you know what? MY GAME CRASHES DURING THE MIDDLE OF A CUTSCENE! i tried being fast but it sometimes worked, how do i fix this?

Try switching to the GitHub builds, as the Playstore build is outdated.

thanks! The game is alot smoother now! The bad thing is that it reset my data

Your data should be in the sdmc folder and should carry over as far as I am aware (unless you used save states).
