Issue:
After updating the app crashes when I load any of my save states. After more research I realized that I shouldn’t wholly rely on those. What I want to know is how I can down grade to the version I had before the update so I can load my game.

You can download the build before old save states broke from here: Release nightly-1818 · citra-emu/citra-nightly · GitHub
Load your save state on here, then save in-game. Then you can use the latest Citra version again by loading your in-game save file. Keep in mind that save states are not a replacement for in-game save files. You should only use them within single gaming sessions, not beyond them.

Great thank you. When I follow that link and scroll to the bottom there are several “assets” to download. I’m using windows. Which one do I download?
citra-windows-mingw-20221208-48ee112.7z
Extract it, then run citra-qt(.exe)

do u need to download a special app to extract it? like 7z ? And does the zip one works too?
7zip or winrar can both extract .7z files just fine.
