Game freezes for a second then continues playing with frozen screen

Issue:
I am playing a decrypted rom of 7th Dragon III Code VFD every time I finish picking my actions in battle the game freezes for a second and then starts running again but with a frozen screen, I can hear that it’s still playing but it’s frozen on one screen.

System Information

  • Operating System: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
  • CPU: 11th Gen Intel(R) Core™ i7-1165G7 @ 2.80GHz 2.80 GHz
  • GPU: Intel(R) Iris(R) Xe Graphics
  • Citra Version (found in title bar): Citra Nightly 1888
  • Game: 7th Dragon III Code VFD

I am not a tester or som but this happened to me before try reseting your setting

First, open the Citra and go to Emulation then click on Configure after go to general well you should see it at the bottom right it will say Reset All Setting
