Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • The CPU Clock percentage is not 100%. You may experience unexpected game speed.

It’s still the same even after I have reach 100% speed

Please send a new log file with the CPU Clock Speed set to 100%.

I’ve got the same problem with Pokemon X/Y and actually it’s not the only issue I got after updating Citra. Sometimes I’ve got the entire screen darkened (no graphics, only sound) and sometimes I’ve got someting else, which shows this link: https://i.imgur.com/NHSGc8o.jpg - it’s the "black “texture” next to prof. Sycamore.

When this “texture” appears, the game works only for a few moments and then it stops (probably the game crashes).

And, what’s important, I’ve got turned on the following options: “Accurate multiplication,” Enable hardware shader, “Shader JIT”, and many others recommended.

I even uninstalled Citra and reinstalled it, but the problem remains.

As for my PC specifications - if those informations are important, below you’ve got details:

  • Operating System: Window 10 Pro
  • Processor: Intel(R) Core™ i5-9400 CPU @ 2.90GHz2.90 GHz, 8.0 Gb RAM

I’d be greatful for any help.

Your drivers are outdated, you need to update.
Download and run igfx_win_101.1191.exe from Intel® Graphics – Windows* DCH Drivers

Then test your game again.

Thanky you for your help. :slightly_smiling_face: Looks like it really worked.

Well, unfortunately after couple of days playing the problem returned. :anguished: But this time the only issue I have is black screen with sounds. Even if I upgrated my graphic drivers, I still can not see anything beside black screen. Below is my citra log. I’d be grateful for any help.

The log file you uploaded shows that your drivers have either reverted to the old ones, or were never fully updated to begin with. Please update your GPU drivers again using the link that autumn provided. Should you run into any issues with update the drivers, let us know.

That’s strange, but you were right. After I updated GPU drivers again, I could enjoy playing with Citra again. Thanky you very much for your help. :slightly_smiling_face:

Still, there is something that makes me wonder. Do I have to update my GPU drivers (and maybe other drivers as well) every time, when there is an update for Citra? Or maybe I just have to ignore every update for Citra to avoid the “black screen” problem? What do you think?

It just so happened that a recent change a dev made required Intel iGPU users that were on older DCH drivers to update to the latest. Whilst its generally a good idea to keep your drivers up-to-date, Citra usually doesn’t require that you have the latest and greatest installed. This time was a bit of an outlier in that regard. Sorry for the inconvenience.
