GPU support for Linux?

Issue:
Whenever I try to load a game onto Citra, it doesn’t let me and instead gives me an error saying that my GPU may not support OpenGL 4.3, or that I do not have the latest graphics driver. I don’t know if this issue can be fixed on Linux, but I’m checking here to be safe.

System Information

  • Operating System: Chrome OS Version 108.0.5359.75 (Official Build) (64-bit)
  • CPU: Intel(R) Celeron(R) N4120 CPU @ 1.10GHz (4 threads, 2.60GHz)
  • GPU: Intel Corporation GeminiLake [UHD Graphics 600] (rev 06)
  • Citra Version (found in title bar): (cannot find with my version of Citra, but it’s the latest version as of Dec 8, 2022)
  • Game: Yo-Kai Watch Blasters: White Dog Squad

In order for us to provide better support, we need to see the log generated by citra. This guide will walk you through how you can obtain the log file: How to Upload the Log File

Sorry to say I’m not really familiar with ChromeOS’ frankenstein Linux implementation. In any case, you need to make sure that you’re on the latest Mesa GPU drivers for your iGPU. With those installed, Citra should run, but you may encounter loads of other issues related to ChomeOS’ Linux jank.
