Hardware renderer no longer working after AMD GPU driver update

Issue:
I just updated my AMD GPU driver to 22.7.1. Now Citra won’t boot any games anymore with hardware renderer turned on. Citra will close before the game boots, no error pop up is shown. Software renderer works but is too slow.

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • Due to AMD’s poorly optimized OpenGL driver, you may experience slowdowns.
  • Enabling Accurate Multiplication is recomended in certain games. If you are experiencing graphical glitches, try enabling this option.

This is a known issue within the staff team. We have to wait until AMD fixes this sadly, they made a mistake with their recent OpenGL optimizations. Please use the previous driver version at the moment if you would like to use Citra.

Thank you very much, I will roll back my gpu driver then.
