Help regarding two monitors

Issue:
Hey! I’m currently trying to play a DQ VIII and split the 3ds screens into my two monitors, but I just can’t seem to get it to work. I’ve read another posts regarding this issue, and already changed the qt-config to my values countless times, as well as the custom_layout=false and such. Sadly, the values keep getting reset and I don’t know what to do anymore. And by the way, if it helps, I can’t seem to open Citra Nightly normally… I need to open up the folder with it and run the citra-qt file.

I did not find anything wrong in your log file. Please wait for a moderator to assist.

We generally speaking don’t provide support with Custom Layouts, but we could at least tell you if there’s something obviously wrong about your changes in the qt-config.ini file. Please upload that file here.

Thank you for sparing some time to help me.
Here’s my input (but like I said, for some reason the file keeps getting reset and I need to change the values over and over again): este.txt (18.7 KB)

First of all, the lines aren’t in the correct spots. They appear to have been moved manually. Second of all, all of the default lines are set to true. Which basically means that none of the custom values are being loaded. Lastly, the custom_layout\default= is also set to true, meaning that Citra wouldn’t even look at any custom values to begin with.

I’ll send you what to copy and paste so that your layout, as you entered it, should work on your end:

custom_layout\default=false
custom_layout=true
custom_top_left\default=false
custom_top_left=0
custom_top_top\default=false
custom_top_top=0
custom_top_right\default=false
custom_top_right=1920
custom_top_bottom\default=false
custom_top_bottom=1080
custom_bottom_left\default=false
custom_bottom_left=1920
custom_bottom_top\default=false
custom_bottom_top=0
custom_bottom_right\default=false
custom_bottom_right=3200
custom_bottom_bottom\default=false
custom_bottom_bottom=720
