Home menu seems to be crashing. Is this normal?

Issue:
So the home menu seems to be crashing when I boot it up. It works fine sometimes but then it just crashes. Someone told me that Citra cant fully emulate the home menu yet. Heres a video of the issue: https://streamable.com/qt8fo5 (i cant upload videos to citra community due to it not supporting it. Also i dont know this website i just searched up online video sharing and this was the first thing that came up)

the home menu runs fine when i use the arrow keys to navigate on my keyboard but it crashes later on

Go to File>Open Citra Folder. Open up the nand folder, and delete the data folder here. Now redownload/redump the home menu and see if that fixes the issue at all.

Fixed it! Thanks sleeping snake! There was also a problem with my graphics driver it seemed to be corrupted and slowing down performance so i fixed that too

okay so the problem started again even after i redownloaded it from citra using my aes keys
