How do I enable StreetPass?

Issue:
I want to enable StreetPass and I’m on Citra Nightly 1737, but I can’t. Is it possible and if so, what do I need to do?

System Information

  • Operating System: Windows 10 Home
  • CPU:
  • GPU:
  • Citra Version (found in title bar): Nightly
  • Game: Tomodachi Life

Short answer, you don’t. It isn’t implemented in Citra. If you wish to use StreetPass, you’ll need to transfer your save back to your 3DS using Checkpoint.

Can you update Citra so it can actually happen?

I’m not a dev, so I wouldn’t even know where to start.
If you want, you can check the GitHub if a feature request is already open for it. But I’m 90% sure it will already be open.

It probably won’t even be useful unless you use citra on android, like me
