How do I search for cheats?

I can’t figure out how to do an in-memory (the emulated machine’s memory) search for changed values, in order to create a cheat. How do I do that? All I can find in Citra right now is a cheat menu to add already known cheats. Is the cheat search feature simply missing from Citra? Or is it in a hidden menu?

In order for us to provide better support, we need to see the log generated by Citra. This guide will walk you through how you can obtain the log file: How to Upload the Log File.

It doesn’t exist.

To my knowledge, it is best to create cheat codes on an actual 3DS using like CTRPF.
Here is a tutorial to get you started (maybe): https://gbatemp.net/threads/finding-fps-and-rendering-codes-on-most-capcom-games.549440/

Why is this feature not currently in the emulator? Also, what is CTRPF? Is something like a Game Shark or Action Replay device?

It is not a priority. Citra is open source so anyone is free to implement it and submit a PR (pull request) if they want the feature to be added to Nightly/Canary.

It is a plugin for the 3DS: https://gbatemp.net/threads/ctrpluginframework-blank-plugin-now-with-action-replay.487729/

This topic has been out since 2018,
There is no sign that it will be implemented at all.

Narrowing down by parallel search (multiple startup) using save state,
It is necessary to implement a search function in Citra.
