How to automatically connect a detected controller?

I want to have Yuzu automatically connect my DS4 Dualshock controller each time Yuzu starts and the DS is on. Every time I start a game I have to do the following:

Emulation|Configure|Controls|Change input device|Select Dualshock 4 Controller 0 and then hit apply.

Everything about the controller works. Configuration is saved, connection is detected, every button/motion controller/everything works fine. The problem I’d like to solve is just have Yuzu do this… If I can do it navigating menus/buttons and simply hitting “Apply” afterward it seems like there must be a way to do this within Yuzu itself.

Or perhaps I’m suggesting a feature request where Yuzu pops up a dialog when a controller is detected and asks if should connect?
