How to use cheats when citra is opened from terminal

Sometime ago the staff (clearly and with much patience) told me how to bypass the opengl problem opening citra from a terminal.
The thing is: how do I activate the cheats? Since they’re avaiable only in the latests versions

In order for us to provide better support, we need to see the log generated by Citra. This guide will walk you through how you can obtain the log file: How to Upload the Log File.

Are you sure that the build you are using has the cheat functionality? (even since on canary-1035, nightly-1104), either way, if you want to activate cheats manually:

put your .txt cheat file (cheats for reference) on your cheats folder (one of these two, ~/.local/share/citra-emu/ or ~/.config/citra-emu/, idk which on mac).

open the cheat .txt file, and inside of it write *citra_enabled in a line right between your cheat name and its content, e.g:

[Cheat 01]
*citra_enabled
00000000 00000000
00000000 00000000
