I can't uninstall Citra!

Issue: I can’t uninstall Citra from my windows computer.
Enter a description of your issue here, in full detail: I downloaded Citra to play some Nintendo 3DS games, but ultimately I couldn’t figure out how to run the games on my computer. So I decided to permanently delete all the Citra files from my desktop thinking that it would delete Citra completely from my computer. But when I went into my computer settings and then went into the apps on my computer, I saw that Citra was still there. I tried to uninstall it like any other computer app but whenever I tried this came up:

Please help!!

In order for us to provide better support, we need to see the log generated by Citra. This guide will walk you through how you can obtain the log file: How to Upload the Log File.

You need to use maintenancetool.exe and select “remove all components”.

That’s what I did to remove Citra from my other computer, but on this computer I can’t do that anymore because I permanently deleted the maintenancetool.exe on accident from this computer.

Try reinstall Citra then do uninstall.

Yep, I tried that and I still have Citra on my computer. I don’t know what else to try.

hey man, so i did the same thing you did, but the good news is i rid myself of it.

so basicly, what u do is,

control panel > uninstall a program > find it, attempt to uninstall it > it will recognize it is not truly there, and away it goes for real!

I am unable to uninstall Citra as well

Do you know where you installed Citra to? If not, type %localappdata% into your Windows search bar and open the folder that pops up. If you see a folder called Citra here, delete it. Then you’ll have uninstalled Citra (if you installed it to the default location).
