I can't use my GPU in Citra

When I go to the graphics tab in settings, there is not option to choose to use my GPU and other Hardware Renderer features.

System Information

  • Operating System: Windows
  • CPU: i5-7600k
  • GPU: GTX 1080
  • Citra Version (found in title bar): Citra Nightly | HEAD - 5748b3e

Download Citra Canary build not the Citra nightly build

Users should not blindly download Canary without understanding the difference (For more info, see the info on the downloads page. It’s worth noting that the improved GPU usage changes are still in beta (on some hardware, it outright does not work), and will hit the nightly version when it is stable.

I have rx 480 8gb & i5-4690… I tried this new shader emulation on gpu…However it always got flickering & then the Citra emu not responding & crash…But it works normal when i set shader emulation on cpu…
I hope you have solution for me or maybe fix this issue…
Thx before

I am the same problem
My laptop pc spec:
Graphics Chipset - AMD Radeon R5 Graphics
Memory Size - 512 MB
Memory Type - DDR4
Core Clock - 720 MHz
Windows Version - Windows 10 (64 bit)
System Memory - 12 GB

GPU shader emulation currently does not work on AMD GPUs.

Same issue, AMD GPU.

This issue is currently being looked into, we don’t have an ETA for when it will be fixed though.
