I found a .cia file error

Issue:
Whenever I try to download a (.cia) file, the app immediately blacks out, and crashes.

I assume you mean “install” and not “download”.

The log file is incomplete. Please follow these steps carefully:

  1. Restart the Citra app if it’s already running.
  2. Launch your game and encounter the problem (or attempt to install it).
  3. Shut down the Citra app (do not restart Citra as that will wipe the log file of important information!).
  4. Navigate to Internal Storage/citra-emu/log and upload the citra_log.txt file in this chat.

If you want to play the game you must need a .3ds file if not then im sorry but i dont know how to help

Citra can run many different ROM formats. Not just .3ds.
