I randomized my copy of ultra sun so that way I have normal ultra sun and randomized. When I went to play the randomized copy it, it kept the same save as I was using for my main file shiny hunting the starter. Anyone know how to fix this?

  • GPU: Intel Iris Xe Graphics

citra_log.txt (285.0 KB)

The game still reports the same titleID to Citra, which means that Citra will write and load the save data to the same folder. Hence why the save data is the same. I recommend using a portable Citra build to get around this:

Go to Download Citra - Citra and select Manual download. Then under Nightly Build, click on your operating system’s icon to the right of the latest build available to download the build.
Extract it (.7z can be extracted using Winrar or 7zip) and put it wherever you wish. Inside the extracted nightly-mingw folder, create a folder called user. This Citra should now store all of its config, save files and such inside of this user folder.
Check to make sure that this user folder is in the same folder that contains citra-qt(.exe)
Now run the citra-qt executable found inside of the mingw folder.

Since this Citra build has its own user folder, it’ll have a new folder for your randomized ROM’s save files.
