I had an really old version of Citra that always worked for me, but I got tired of the messages asking for me to update and updated. After the update it didnt work anymore. I open the game and the screen freeze.
I don’t know what to do… I tried to reinstall with the old file that I had, but it download and install the latest version. I wonder if there would be anyway to get another old version of the Citra.
PS.: Sorry for bad english.

Hello new member, welcome to the Citra Community
I’m not sure what causes the screen freezing, but the black dots taking up the right side of the screen might be driver related, a lot of people have had a similar issue due to their drivers being outdated.
Thanks for the welcome and for your attention to my issue, but I already checked the drivers and other stuff related… I guess something changed inside Citra along the years and it bugs something in my computer… the older version worked really fine… I must not have updated it… lol
Build 24.20.100.6286 this is very old(from 2018), latest ends in 101.2115
You need to update in two parts, first manually to 6373 which will enable you to install the latest (otherwise you will get an error).
Make sure Windows 10 is updated, you should be on 21H2 or 22H2. You can check what you currently have by opening winver (type that in Windows search near the Start button)
friday night I found this page Older versions of Citra Emulator (Android) | Uptodown with several old versions of Citra… I downloaded them and the version 2020-05-18 nightly did work! I played 3 or 4 games in this version and it seems to be working well in my computer… thanks for the help, guys…
