Save states break across different citra versions. You need to load the save file on the citra version it was created on, otherwise it won’t work. You can find our older releases on our github page.

How do I run the older version?

Download citra-windows-mingw-20201115-23b6784.7z (direct link) from https://github.com/citra-emu/citra-nightly/releases/tag/nightly-1636
Extract it using Winrar or 7zip. Put the extracted folder anywhere you want. Now run citra-qt.exe from the folder and run your game.

It worked thank you so much

Pls Help!

I don’t know what version it was when it first played
How could I see that?

Please upload your Save State. I might be able to figure out what version it came from. If I can’t, you’ll have to look for it manually.
If the site doesn’t allow you to upload the save state directly, upload it to something like google drive first, then post a public link to it here.

It does not allow me to upload the file

How I look manually?

You’ve uploaded your Save File, not your Save State. I need your Save State.
You can look manually by downloading older Citra versions from this archive and testing out your Save State on them: https://github.com/citra-emu/citra-nightly/releases

Sorry, the save state link : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1fkdox6dqowsDAroI-TMaehpbKyh5IEgD/view?usp=sharing
extension .cst
Download the first version on October 30, do you know what is the version of that date?

It should be this version if you were using Citra Nightly: https://github.com/citra-emu/citra-nightly/releases/tag/nightly-1629
Download citra-windows-mingw-20201014-1bb2057.7z (direct link)
Extract it using Winrar or 7zip. Put the extracted folder anywhere you want. Now run citra-qt.exe from the folder, start up your game and test out your Save State.

Dude, you are the best!
Thanks!!!
