Instant citra crash mac

Issue:
Whenever I try to open a game, it instantly quits. At first it was just my ACNL game, which I stopped under ‘emulation - stop’ but now it’s all of my games. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling citra to no avail.

  • Enabling Accurate Multiplication is recomended in certain games. If you are experiencing graphical glitches, try enabling this option.

^that didn’t do anything, apparently it’s also not compatible with Mac :frowning:

try disabling the disk shader cache to see if that fixes the issue

You.
You are my hero.
I played Miitopia for hours yesterday, started it up today, only for it not to work. Was SO scared I had to start over.
Tried your solution, and it’s working again!
Thank you so much.

ohmygod i…thank u for existing

Can the both of you please turn disc cached shaders back on, attempt to run a game until ti crashes/fails to load/whatever, and then upload a log for us (before you boot citra again)? This would be helpful in getting us to check where the problems exist.

when i turned it back on while playing, it worked fine, but when i tried to load another game after saving, it crashed again. i tried opening it again while the disk shader cache was still on, but it crashed once more.

don’t know if i got the log properly, but here it is!

thanks!!! works

How do I disable that option? Where can I find it?

Citra/Preferences/Graphics/Utilities and uncheck the disk shader cache box.

Works perfectly, thank you! If disk shader cache was enabled, what did it do?

new canary build 1546 disabled the disk shader cache if hardware shaders is disabled.
