Is there a way to stop crashing when underclocking cpu?

Issue:
I’m trying to play MH3U and the only way I’ve found to get it to run at full speed is to underclock my cpu to 85%, but when I do this the game freezes whenever I try to load a character. Is there another way to increase performance or get it to stop freezing?

System Information

  • Operating System: Windows 10
  • CPU: i3-10105
  • GPU: RX 6600
  • Citra Version (found in title bar): canary 2562 (I also tried with nightly)
  • Game: Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate

Underclocking is inherently unstable. So you should set it back to 100% if it’s unstable for you. As for how to improve performance, make sure that you’ve followed the performance related entries on this page: Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate - Citra
They’re crucial to getting decent performance.
