Is there any way to get 60 fps on a 30 fps game like pokemon X on citra emulator?

As the title says, is there anything I can do to make the game run in 60 fps instead of 30, or is that a hard limit?

Some 30fps locked games can achieve this through mods or cheat codes (memory injects), but the ability to do this through those means is completely dependent on the game’s engine. For example, a lot of 30fps locked games have their physics, or other logic tied to the fps. Meaning that if you force it to run at a higher framerate, it’ll break the game.

Pokemon games are in that catagory. Even the new Switch pokemon games are still designed for 30fps, and cannot be unlocked (barring Pokemon BDSP, as that was made in Unity and therefore does support variable framerate).
