Loading ROM causes RAM usage crash

Issue: Upon attempting to load a rom, RAM usage jumps to 95% and climbs until the program crashes or my PC experiences a fatal error and I have to restart

  • Citra Version (found in title bar): 1706
  • Game: Pokemon: Alpha Sapphire Randomized

Trimmed the file to not include 5 million lines of memory errors :^)

Found another topic with a similar issue caused by rom corruption. Will attempt to fix that and will update afterwards

Tweaked a few settings and created a new randomized rom. Second rom works

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • Due to AMD’s poorly optimized OpenGL driver, you may experience slowdowns.
  • Please enable the Vsync option if you are experiencing screen tearing.

The new AMD drivers require a fix that is only present in the latest Citra Canary so far.
Please use that for now.
