Loading up a save state (after so many times) disables it, along with creating new save states. Ruining my rough TASes

Issue:
I have been making rough TASes on runs that last roughly under 10 minutes at the most.
The game is Super Smash Brothers 4 3DS and the game mode is Smash Run.

I load up the save state to either:
*manipulate the item drops from defeated enemies,
*fix any attacks I miss
*manipulate the challenge task when entering a red door.

After roughly 10-30 minutes of trial and error, the load state/save states becomes disabled preventing me to fix any more errors and the input movie file is automatically deleted/corrupted.

I know the input movie file feature is still work in progress for bigger TAS projects but I’m making quicker ones to get the viewers some excitement on 3DS TASing.
