Mario & Luigi dream team tilt controls half work

Im using citras configure settings to use a PS5 controller as tilt input for the game, a test would not pick anything up but the ingame “Bros Attack Demo Mode” the tilt controls pick up flawlessly everytime. Everytime I try it in game durring a battle they don’t work at all. Is there anything i can do in settings to help this?

It might also be worth noting im using the citra-valentin-qt exe to run citra

Citra valentin is an unofficial Citra build. We do not offer support for it here, only official build. If you wish to receive support here, use the latest Citra Canary or Citra Nightly, and see if the issue remains.
