Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions Credits Crash

So I defeat final boss in the game (Cackletta’s Soul) and escape from the castle. Credits starts to roll and the name Tetsuya Ohi (Effect Design), I get this:

[1455.500105] HW.Memory core/memory.cpp:GetPhysicalPointer:297: unknown GetPhysicalPointer @ 0x8CBD5E36

Any help how to deal with this? I need to see the whole credits to unlock last 2 stages in Minion’s Quest mode + to fill all records in that mode (all need to have Bowser Jr., which is unlocked by defeating Fawful one last time, but I can’t defeat him, when the credits in Mario Bros. adventure keep crashing). Keep in mind that this is the only problem I encountered during my playthrough.

Anyways. I would appreciate your help. Thanks in advance.

It’s weird that the problem in red isn’t showed in the log.

Ok, so maybe you could help me. Can you write your experience with this crash in here? More people with more information could mean faster solution.

I have the same problem but Citra crashes to desktop and shows no error dialog. I tried it 3 times and it is at exactly the same point in the credits. Here is my log file if that helps:

Does this crash occur with hardware shaders disabled?

where can i find it?

I had the same problem in the latest Citra, and I can confirm that you can bypass the credits crash in Citra Nightly 300. Download it here - Release nightly-300: Merge pull request #2879 from danzel/patch-1 · citra-emu/citra-nightly · GitHub

And here’s an after-credits savefile.

  1. Change its extension from .txt to .zip (this forum doesn’t support zip files)
  2. Open Citra → right-click on the game title → Open Save Data Location
  3. Backup your save files and replace them with files from the zip file.
