MH4U extremely slow

Issue:
I decided to play mh4u on citra and its been incredibly slow. Ive just been able to hit 35-ish fps (with it dipping into the 20s when I move) with slow gameplay and buggy sound. Ive used the stereoscopic and fps cap cheat yet it is still slow.

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • Please enable the Vsync option if you are experiencing screen tearing.
  • The CPU Clock percentage is not 100%. You may experience unexpected game speed.
  • LLE Audio is designed for debugging purposes. Using this option will slow down your game. Try changing to HLE audio.
  • You have cheats enabled. This might cause weird behaviour or crashes. Please disable them and retest if your game is experiencing bugs or crashes.

Ive gotten to 70fps now

It’s highly recommended to dump and install the update to 1.1 so that you can use several performance improving cheat codes that otherwise won’t work.
