MHXX can't start and gives a Fatal Error

Issue:
Monster Hunter Double Cross with the English patch won’t start up and gives me a fatal error. I have shared fonts and pretty much the whole kit.

System Information

  • Operating System: Windows 8.1
  • CPU: i5 3337U
  • GPU: GT 720m
  • Citra Version (found in title bar): Citra Canary 1283
  • Game: Monster Hunter XX

Monster Hunter XX - Double Cross (English Patched v4) Decrypted.3ds

Prepatched v4 is broken. You should redump MHXX from your 3DS as is so it’s clean. Then also dump the update (1.4.0) sepearately and then apply the patch to the update instead, then install that on Citra(File->Install CIA....

v4 is outdated anyway, there is v5 of the patch and even an update to that.

You haven’t been the only person who have run into the issue :stuck_out_tongue:

Got it fixed. Just patch the update and V5 over this. Works like a charm now.
