MHXX Stuck At Now Loading Screen

I just started this game and i just finish making my character. After that I clicked yes, so that I can play the game with my newly created character. Then the now loading screen came up, and suddenly BAM! It’s stuck there. The fps and the speed are still going (not 0 fps) but the game wont get pass now loading screen, so help me please…

Your log seems to be incomplete? Open citra, launch the game and when you reach the issue close citra and don’t open it again, open the folder C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Citra\log and upload the citra_log.txt file again.

Perhaps your GPU shares the same problem with HD 4400 & 4600, can you test if Nightly-860 works but 861 does not?

I’m using canary right now and it looks like the problem was solved when I disable the hardware renderer. But it become so slow, I can’t play it. I also sent the framelimit to 100%, so any suggestions?

Yeah so the issue is your iGPU but can you test the version I mentioned above? If it works then we know you are depended on the ‘AMD hack’ which was changed to only apply to AMD GPUs.
You can find old Nightly builds here: https://github.com/citra-emu/citra-nightly/releases?after=nightly-862 so test 860 & 861 and let me know if 860 works but not 861.

You should also try update the drivers: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/96743/Intel-HD-Graphics-for-4th-Generation-Intel-Processors do this first.

Ultimately your CPU has very poor single thread performance, it scores 799 at: https://www.cpubenchmark.net/singleThread.html and it’s recommended to have at least 1800.
The expected workload for your Celeron is like web browsing, word processing etc. not gaming :stuck_out_tongue:
