MK7 Local play isn't working

Whenever we try to play MK7 (local multiplayer) we just get stuck on the screen below. We both have the DLP modules on, so that can’t be the issue. Is there anything that could be an issue in the log? We’re both in the same lobby.

System Information

  • Operating System: Windows 10
  • CPU: AMD FX™-8350 Eight-Core Processor
  • GPU: NVIDIA Geforce GTX 770
  • Citra Version (found in title bar): Citra Nightly 1883
  • Game: Mario Kart 7

Also I want to note that we tried CTGP7 in there, we also tried just plain old vanilla MK7 as well.
