ML RPG 3 - controls not working

Issue:
In Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey, there is a required minigame on the adrenaline channel. It involves moving left and right and shooting things. However, during this part, the control for “right” stops responding, I can then only move to the left side, and with this limitation, it is practically impossible to pass this minigame, halting all progress.

Does the minig-ame works with touch, d-pad or c-stick? which of these stops working?

Usually, only circle pad left and right are able to be used to move, and A and B for attacking.

No matter which buttons are pressed (even those not mapped to controls), or the touchscreen, moving right doesn’t work.

Are you playing with a gamepad or a keyboard? if gamepad which gamepad? either way go to the controls options and click to reset and reconfigure your controls (before launching the game), also configure your c-stick and circle-pad (if gamepad) using the ‘Set Analog Stick’ option.
