Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Crashing After Loading Game (mac)

Issue:
I’m able to open MH4U without any issues (Character creation, beginning cutscene) until I try to load my save and the game crashes. Do I have to be connected to a server in order for me to load a game?

  • GPU: Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB
  • Citra Version (found in title bar): Canary 1903
  • Game: Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • Due to AMD’s poorly optimized OpenGL driver, you may experience slowdowns.
  • You have cheats enabled. This might cause weird behaviour or crashes. Please disable them and retest if your game is experiencing bugs or crashes.

Disabling the cheats didn’t do anything. The cheats that I currently have are for FPS Cap and Render Settings.

Disable cheats, then restart citra (otherwise the cheat remain active).

It seems like it gets past that point now. I’ll send a screenshot below.


Unfortunately the game has started lagging for some reason. I’ll make another post about this since I don’t think they’re connected. I doubt the game will crash but it’s just too laggy to function :frowning:
