Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Crashing

Citra freezes up and crashes everytime I open a save and try loading it. It was working fine yesterday.

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • You have cheats enabled. This might cause weird behaviour or crashes. Please disable them and retest if your game is experiencing bugs or crashes.

turning off cheats did not help as I had only had and fps cap and a disable stereoscopic 3d option and they have never caused issues before and I made sure to restart the emulation but changed nothing still crashed at the same time.

Drivers are outdated (from last year). Update here:

Installed the drivers and tried to run the game but it crashed again like usual.

Does it also crash on Vulkan?

A potential fix for OpenGL is coming up:

Usually Vulkan should be better than OpenGL.

Yes I have swapped over to Vulkan and it is working fine now thank you very much.
