Issue:
Previously, MH4U ran smoothly with 30 FPS as the lowest. After the Dah’ren Mohran encounter and exploring the town, my computer automatically restarted (probably due to an overheated CPU). From then on, the game has been stuck on a black screen, with frames ranging from 60FPS at 100% Speed to as little as 3FPS at 4% Speed. Can anyone offer solutions to this?

Hm, try reset all settings: Emulation->Configure->Reset All Settings post a new screenshot on the new black screen, wondering if it says like 0fps, 0%/100% speed, nan ms.
