Monster Hunter Stories: Head-to-Head Visual Bug

Issue:
Player character is transparent during Head-to-Heads. The only cheat code I have enabled is 60fps, turning other cheats and/or enabling/disabling other graphical settings seems to have no effect. I also tried this on JP v1.3 and it seems to have the same issue.

I figured out that the “Better Render Settings”/“Turn Off 3D” cheats (that are used to remove the blur during combat) cause this transparency effect. I discovered that the blur only occurs in the green wide open areas like Pondry Hills and the Plains outside Gildegaran. The blur is absent in pretty much all of the other areas/caves with the cheats off, but the Head-to-Head transparency will happen everywhere with the cheats on.
