Im having issues trying to create a room public or unlisted for someone on the same network as me to join. From reading the faq i was under the impression port forwarding isnt needed since we are on the same network and do i use my dns ip adress or the public adress

If you’re on 2 different pc’s, even in the same household, connected to the same router, the host will need to set up port forwarding.

I’m not sure if that is necessary, my modem is set up to only port forward my first PC, so i created a room with my second PC and connected using direct connect and its working fine, however trying to connect through the lobby won’t work.

oh thank you didn’t realise, the faq section made it sound like if we were on the same network port forwarding wasn’t needed thanks.
