My Pokemon Omega Ruby froze after activating cheat

Issue:
My Pokemon Omega Ruby froze after activating cheat, how can I fix it, is there any way I can go back to a few minutes earlier, because I saved after activating cheat, and I don’t have any in-game saves.

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • Due to AMD’s poorly optimized OpenGL driver, you may experience slowdowns.
  • You have cheats enabled. This might cause weird behaviour or crashes. Please disable them and retest if your game is experiencing bugs or crashes.

If you Saved Citra’s State while a cheat code was enabled, then the memory inject that the cheat created is going to get loaded as well when you load that Save State. There’s no way to turn that off now. So you’ve basically hard locked yourself there. This is why we always recommend to use your in-game save files most of all to save your progress. Save States should only be used within single gaming sessions to avoid progress loss like you’re experiencing currently.

I’m afraid you’ll have to start over.
