New Leaf crashing whilst playing/loading

New Leaf crashes after some time when I play, I feel like the time varies but it can happen if I’m loading or just playing normally. Also a little caveat, not entirely sure if it’s important, but my game doesn’t actually ‘crash’ per se, rather it seems to go unresponsive (though the appropriate music continues to play in the background) and after a few minutes I close Citra.

System Information

  • Operating System: Windows 10

  • CPU: i7 7700k

  • GPU: GTX 1060 6GB

  • Citra Version (found in title bar): Nightly 1774

  • Game: Animal Crossing: New Leaf

No game was booted in your log. If you are experiencing a crash then do not open citra again until after you posted the log as it gets purged when you reopen citra.

Also the crashing happened with Accurate Multiplication on as well, so I disabled it after seeing a suggestion about it I think.

Just happened again:

Didn’t use any save states, nothing, my controller just got unplugged and I reconnected it and whilst I was saving my Citra became unresponsive so I had to close it. I got to play for quite a while so I really have no idea why it’s doing this.

Controllers getting unplugged can indeed cause Citra to freeze/crash. A dev needs to look into that unfortunately.
