Hello.
I have played on citra like a Year ago. Back then i was able to use “Speed up Button” to speed up, slow or not interesting parts of the game for my videos. Right now i’m going back to some older games, but the “speed up” option does not show. I have the Advanced Frame Hotkey but no way to change the advanced frame itself. All i have is Emulation Speed, which changes the speed for hole game no matter what.
Please help
In order for us to provide better support, we need to see the log generated by citra. This guide will walk you through how you can obtain the log file: How to Upload the Log File
First off, you have a bunch of weird settings (increased CPU Clock Speed at 200%, Dump Textures enabled?), you should probably go to Emulation>Configure>General
and hit Reset All Settings.
Secondly, with the introduction of per-game settings, Alternate Speed (yes, not frame advancing, that’s something else entirely) was removed in favour of Per-Game speed.
Right click on your game in Citra’s game list (you may need to add a game directory for your game to show up here), then select Properties
. Change the Use global emulation speed
here to Set emulation speed
. Insert the speed up value here that you would’ve normally set at Alternate Speed in the past.
Now head to Emulation>Configure>Controls>Hotkey tab
and set a hotkey for Toggle Per-Game Speed
. Now you can switch between the set per-game speed and the normal emulation speed.

Thank you soo much for your help. Reseting the settings also helped with some studders during gameplay, so another nice tip
Thank you, have a nice day/night/evening !
