I guess Im asking if there is a way to actually extract the font and replace it back into the rom or something to that effect. I read a bunch of threads around this but couldnt find anything concrete outside of using dumptexture and using waifu2x to upscale it, but this is a bruteforce way of doing it right? SInce all we need to update is in 1 file, the font itself?
In order for us to provide better support, we need to see the log generated by citra. This guide will walk you through how you can obtain the log file: How to Upload the Log File
This doesn’t really have anything to do with Citra support. I suggest you ask in a modding oriented forum or server.
While it may be true the font is in the rom, but the emulator upscales everything mostly except the UI and Font.
Are there no emulator based solutions? or would updating the font just make it nice quality.
If I recall correctly, some games render the text on the CPU, rather than the GPU. Not as textures, but as pixels themselves. This makes upscaling them traditionally next to impossible unfortunately.
