Omega Ruby: Safari Zone & Route 118 Crash

Entering either Route 118 or the Safari Zone cause the Rom to crash. In both cases, walking into the areas causes a black screen on the top screen but leaves the bottom screen rendered but it is unusable. Audio continues to play in the background.

When flying to Route 118, the top screen will fully render and animate for about a second before crashing.

On a couple of occasions, I have been able to get onto Route 118, but now it won’t work at all - I’ve tried playing around with the graphical settings and its making no difference currently.

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • Due to AMD’s poorly optimized OpenGL driver, you may experience slowdowns.

Hi, can you upload your save file? Right click on the game Citra then Open Save Data Location then upload the file, I think it’s called main to like Google Drive and link it here.

Provide steps to reproduce the issue so I can test it.

Hope that works.

I’ve edited the OR rom using the PK3DS randomiser - just changing pokemon locations in case that could cause an issue

Just go right and you will enter Route 118
