OoT 3D crashes in sheik cutscene

I have been playing Oot 3D for quite a while, having some problems with random crashes more recently. I figured these were related with save states and worked around them, but now I’ve been stuck at a cutscene with Sheik, after the Spirit Temple. Right after the dialog at the Temple of Time, the screen always freezes. I am not loading from save states anymore, just loading the game normally.
