OpenGL 3.3/Driver

Issue:
Enter a description of your issue here, in full detail.
So I have the latest version of Citra Canary, 1607. Every time I try to open a game, it just constantly says Your GPU may not support OpenGL 3.3, or you do not have the latest graphics driver. I have already installed the drivers for both GPU (assuming they are all latest) and I checked if they are compatible with OpenGL 3.3. cant even begin the game, so idk if i need the log, but ill upload if needed.

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • Enabling Accurate Multiplication is recomended in certain games. If you are experiencing graphical glitches, try enabling this option.

Hm the log gets cut off. Can you turn off Hardware Renderer then start the game, close Citra and upload a new log?

You forgot to turn off Hardware Renderer (as I mentioned in my previous post) before uploading the new log. Sorry for the late answer.

hmm i guess ill have to find a new way or find a new pc i guess,

Let’s try update drivers for both GPUs first, your PC should be fine.

For Intel:

Download win64_25.20.100.6373.zip from https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/28289/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10
direct link: https://downloadmirror.intel.com/28289/a08/win64_25.20.100.6373.zip

then follow this guide to install it: https://www.howtogeek.com/343287/how-to-fix-the-driver-being-installed-is-not-validated-for-this-computer-on-intel-computers/

After you have installed that you can if you want update further: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/29465/Intel-Graphics-Windows-10-DCH-Drivers?product=126687 (download the .exe this time).
Make sure Windows 10 is updated first before you install it.

(It is split like this because I haven’t found an updated guide to install DCH directly and bypass “not validated error” so 6373 is just a pre-step).

For Nvidia:

Selected this:

If there is a clean install option, check it to make sure we get a fresh install.

Nice! got the game workin fine thank you so much!
