Persona Q2 Black Screen

In the title screen and gameplay of Persona Q2 the top screen is black with only the title visible and only UI elements and the bottom screen during gameplay. Something to note is that while typing this the first time I tried opening it with different API setting from OpenGL to Software, which fixed it, but was really slow (1-9 FPS). At first I thought it was cause I had my browser open to type this out but it was the setting.

Go to File>Open Citra Folder, then delete the shaders folder found here. Now try your game again.

That didn’t fix the problem, it is still like that

The log file is incomplete. Make sure you follow the steps carefully:

  1. Open Citra, then go to File>Open Citra Folder (Citra>Open Citra Folder if on MacOS) and open up the log folder. Now keep that open in the background.
  2. Launch your game and encounter the problem; crash/slowdown/glitch and close Citra if it doesn’t do so by itself. Do not restart Citra as that will wipe the log of important information!
  3. Now upload the log file in this chat.

Seems like the recent update for Citra fixed the issue, but I’m not sure if it fixed the issue where the game soft locks from a textbox not appearing or a scene not starting, which happens at random. I’ve played around 20 minutes and the soft lock hasn’t happened.
