Pilotwings Resort stutter

Pilotwings Resort does work okay, sometimes the game (or even the program) needs a restart because of low framerates, but once I get past the title screen it slowly starts running smoother, so that I am willing to ignore, however the one annoying thing that doesn’t go away is a constant audio stuttering that either worsens or becomes less of a problem, I’m guessing it depends on what all is happening on the screen at once. But I would like to know if there’s a way I can get rid of the audio stuttering entirely.

Audio is tied to the game speed, so if full speed cannot be achieved or the game speed stutters, then the audio will stutter. You can mitigate the unpleasant sounds a bit by activating Audio Stretching in Emulation>Configuration>Audio, but this might also cause some input lag in some games.
