I’m making it known. I solved my own issue.

For any future readers of this, the issue was massive slowdown across the board in all games, your lucky if it could hit 60%

The solution to the problem: Turn off LLE audio. Only use HLE.

On a side note, will someone who knows how to use this board better than I do, please tell the devs to make a tooltip for the audio types. So many other options have a tooltip explaining them, but not the HLE/LLE section. I can’t be the only person who thought the (accurate) part of its name meant it would sound a bit better than (fast) at ‘maybe’ a bit of performance drawback, like most options do. However the reality is that LLE just kills performance (doesn’t even sound any better, in fact it sounds worse since it runs slower) and really should just never be used.

LLE is only useful for debugging purposes, so in 99% of cases it should just be left as HLE. You could always open up a issue on Citra’s GitHub page and request a tooltip/more descriptive description to be added.
