Plz help.. ACNL unable to save

Issue:
I just started playing acnl welcome amiibo version. But when I wanted to save, it just said unable to save and ask to quit the game. When I restart the game, it said to get the latest update??? I really wanted to play this game tho…

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • Enabling Accurate Multiplication is recomended in certain games. If you are experiencing graphical glitches, try enabling this option.

do u mean i need to buy the update from nintendo eshop and have a 3ds?

Yes, you will need a Nintendo 3DS to download updates from the eShop. I assume you have the game on a cartridge and asked a friend to dump it for you on their 3DS. To get the updates though you will need to own a 3DS or 2DS(cheaper)

oh, thank you for your help. unfortunately, i dont have a 3ds/2ds nor a friend that have the console.
its weird to me because other people can play the welcome amiibo version(on citra) without encountering any problem that i have. guess i will just stick to playing acnl without the update. :slight_smile:
