Pokemon Alpha Sapphire Contest Hall Talent Round Frame Loss

Issue:
When playing “Pokemon AS” when I do the “contest” during the “Talent Round” portion my fps drops from a steady 30fps and 100% emulation speed to about 12fps or less and only 30-40% emulation speed.

I should add that I usually run my CPU at 3.9GHz

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • Enabling Accurate Multiplication is recomended in certain games. If you are experiencing graphical glitches, try enabling this option.

does it drop for an extended period of time (say 30sec) or just momentarily accompanied by a stutter? the latter should be expected to a degree.

It drops during the entire “Talent Round” of the Pokemon contest then goes back up right after. (Keep in mind it only happens during Talent Round and none of the others.)
