Pokemon Alpha Sapphire screen turns black then Citra does not respond

Issue:
Whenever I launch Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, I can get it to work perfectly fine on the language select screen but the moment I select one my screen will flicker black then when it comes back on, the emulation is frozen and wont respond

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • Due to AMD’s poorly optimized OpenGL driver, you may experience slowdowns.

Update drivers to 22.8.2: https://www.amd.com/en/support/graphics/radeon-500-series/radeon-rx-500-series/radeon-rx-580
