Pokemon games just crashes the emulator (Citra Nightly 1783) without warning, it just forces the emulator to close

Every time I booted up the game, Pokemon Rising Ruby/Sinking Sapphire, a few seconds with me walking or doing something, the emulator just pauses then immediately closes without warning. I don’t know if it is because it is a ROM hack, if it is then, I’m sorry for the inconvenience

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • Due to AMD’s poorly optimized OpenGL driver, you may experience slowdowns.

Please update your GPU driver to the latest available: https://www.amd.com/en/support/apu/amd-ryzen-processors/amd-ryzen-3-desktop-processors-radeon-vega-graphics/amd-ryzen-3-1

I updated my drivers and it still has the same issue but other pokemon games can run smoothly. The only games that crashed are ROM hacks. Is there any other solution I can do to fix it?

If the base game runs, then our job is done. Your problem is with your ROM hack application, or ROM hack itself, not with Citra. Contact the mod author for support.
